We rented the two bedroom house for 3 days. It was ideal: close to a small grocery store, so we could eat some meals there. Relaxing and good value.

Barefoot Beach was a nice little hotel on the beach in Caye Caulker, Belize. It was quaint and the staff was very friendly. It had a laid back vibe and was a bit island shabby, which was on par with the rest of the island. My only real complaint was that the room stayed very damp and all my clothes and luggage smelled like mildew when I returned. I guess because all the rain and moisture in the air? Also, they need a bigger slot in the key drop box. I couldn't fit my room key in there, so half of it hung out. And oil those bike locks because the salt air is making them rusty and hard to lock/unlock. Other than that, I liked my stay at Barefoot Beach. I would stay there again.

What a sweet little place to stay. The staff was so helpful and kind. We stayed in one of the little stand alone hut rooms. They were very small and basic but had everything you need. We loved the complimentary bikes for riding around the island! The views from their beach were beautiful and the location was great, a quieter area which we preferred. You can walk or bike into town in only a couple minutes. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great quiet little place to stay on the island. Comfortable no frills living with a super nice staff. Was great being right on the water and a quick walk/bike ride to everything.

The place has its own part of the seefront which is quite lovely. The small houses next to the beach are perfect for couples.

Nice accomendation a bit off the busy frontstreet. free bike-rental allows you to get fast to all main-spots on the island. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very nice beach house, although located a little further away from all the restaurants, the island is small and the free bikes that the resort provides are good for getting around, although some are quite rusty. The room got ventilated rather quickly so this was good. The private beach is great and hammocks put on the pier is a nice touch, you can enjoy a book whilst at the beach and in the shade.

The rooms are super cute. We spent a few days in a cabin and a few days in the studio apartment (which has a kitchen). Everything was very clean; and we were provided filtered drinking water, beach towels, and bikes. They have a lovely dock with lounge chairs in the sun and hammocks in the shade. The staff is super sweet and the rates are good.

We only stayed at Barefoot Beach for one night but really enjoyed it. Very reasonably priced for an air conditioned room, bikes (which can be rented anywhere on the island for like $15BZ a day but it's nice to have it included) and a cabana on the dock with four hammocks. It's slightly south of where most of the other hotels and restaurants are so its much quieter than further up the beach. We paid twice as much for a slightly bigger room and less amenities at Popeye's. Susan was great, as well! Definitely recommend this place.
