  The place is a half finished concrete building without a finished ceiling and raw concrete floor, in no use of the imagination is this in anyway like a gold and country club, maybe if you like picking corn or cane from the adjacent fields

  The Xiabe Golf and Country Club is a must see if you're passing through Corozal, Belize. While they don't still maintain a website, are not (yet) in most Guidebooks, this is a hidden Gem and has been one of the best experiences I've had in the country of Belize. The owner (a jovial outspoken Canadian named Tim) and his wife have operated this beautiful resort for about 10 years. Situated on 30 acres, they offer a Huge and clean swimming pool, fresh BBQ and other food, drinks and plenty of tables. Their golf course plans have been postponed and this is most definitely not what most would consider a "country club" although it is certainly a club in the country. They also have great camping spots and hammocks available if you would like to spend the night. The food is fantastic and Cheap and you're sure to have a great time. Entrance to use the pool is only 5 Belizian dollars for adults ($2.50 USD)
