I liked looking at the ruins and our tour guide , Carlos was very nice , however I absoulutly hated the damn speed boat ride through the rainforest because I lost my disneyland CA hat to a tidal wave so I thought it was OKAY overall

Awesome guides for trips to the Lamanai ruins. 26 miles down the New river in modern fast boats. Our tour included lunch provided by the guides. The guide was not only knowledgeable in Mayan history, but he also highlighted many things during the trip and tour of the ruins having to do with the vegetation and surrounding wildlife.

Great excursion option. Tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about the Mayan ruins. Taking a boat ride to get to the ruins was a fabulous icing on the cake
