I am still on Tobacco Caye and am finding the Caye to be very clean, quiet and peaceful. The people are warm, open-hearted and friendly - the accommodating are more than adequate - and the food is good. Have seem a number of 6' stingrays, eagle rays and much more. What more can a person ask for . Have even met people here who have been coming back every year for the past 20 years! That says a lot ..
I stayed here almost 17 years ago! A wonderful place where sunrises and sunsets can be viewed from the same easy chair!
Such a lovely island!! The sunsets are stunning and everyone on the island is so friendly; the locals really made our stay memorable! Lots of activities: snorkeling, fishing, SUPs, kayaks, etc.
We spent a night on a mooring ball. Was able to restock water, ice, and bought a much needed can of coconut milk from the kitchen. Breakfast at the restaurant was pleasant though with the exception of the lionfish, pretty typical Belize menu. I'd say the beach side location was epic (it was) but the whole thing is an island you can walk around in minutes. At a glance, the cabanas looked great and the water sports were not lacking.
