Fantastic! Food was amazing, decor is top notch, service was excellent. We dined on their last night before closing for a month so they were out of a few items, but they have a great selection so it was no prob to find lots of other tasty items.

Probably the best Italian you'll get on the island, but also a little expensive.

Lindo ambiente pero muy caro por la cantidad y calidad de la comida.

Lovely location, we were seated on the outside deck. Great quality food with attentive staff. We went on a Tuesday night and had great live music to accompany our meal. A bit pricey if you want 3 courses, but perfect for a special occasion.

Wow! Very authentic Italian!! This is the find of our trip. A beautiful setting with extraordinary food and service. I am not impressed very often, but this place deserves high praise. My wife had a pizza with one of the best tasting very thin crust. I had the bolognese that happily over ate. The name is different now..Il Pellecano(hope I got that right. Bellissimo!!!!

I visited Sandro's with my wife in March 2012. It's located towards the leeward (West) side of the island, far from the hustle and bustle of most of the other restaurants and hotels. As small as the island is, it was actually surprisingly difficult to find. We really didn't notice it until we were right on top of it, and it is incredibly unassuming from the front. As you enter, you're led through a front room and onto a patio out back with appropriate tikki candle lighting, plants, and a truly peaceful atmosphere (we were the only ones there when we got there). My wife and I ordered the Crab Linguini, a bottle of wine, and the tiramasu, none of which was disappointing. The Crab Linguini, a special, was messy and a lot of work (it was in the shell) but truly delicious and worth it. I would be eager to try their Lobster Linguini when it's in season. The tiramasu was the only available dessert, but it's some of the best I've ever had. Most of the guidebooks/websites rate Sandro's as one of the best restaurants on the island, and this rating is appropriate. It's pricier than most of the island fare, but the prices are appropriate. If you're looking for a nice evening on Caye Caulker, visit Sandro's.
