3 Star rating is for "everything okay" and that is was this place is.
Food was okay, there is no waiter, it is not next to the beach, but neither next to the main street.
It is not expensive, but also not cheap.
I would recommend it for the traveler on a small budged and I would come back, but don't expect too much.

Juan is an awesome chef. He is a friendly guy and has great food. He is closed on Friday so make sure you go on all the other nights. Everything we ate was delicious. If your lucky you can get a piece of his wife's homemade Lime Pie. To DIE FOR!!!!! As many people have mentioned there isn't much seating so grab your food and take it out by the water and have a dream picnic. Also, it was mentioned that alcohol isn't served. My suggestion for going to any restaurants on the island is to swing by one of the local stores pick up something to drink and take it with you. All restaurants we went to allowed BYOB.

We ended up visiting Juan's almost every day after discovering the tasty, well-priced food. I recommend the vegetable burrito for breakfast and the fish fillet for dinner.

Most of the places in town to dine at are nothing to rave about what this one was particularly average - Juan's it is set in the middle of the block surrounded by residential properties with nothing to look at the street.
There is a limited seating area with coverage and the rest are picnic tables. You order your food sit down and wait till it's prepared and then pick it up when called. There is no alcohol served prices are in line with other restaurants in the area. My wife had coconut lobster and I had creole lobster. Both were passable but the creole was bland at best.

Had dinner here )Chicken kebab with two sides )and it was great. No alcohol available but no problem to bring your own ( Cheaper too ! ) so impressed at dinner we went back for breakfast which was cheap, tasty and great coffee too.

I liked the food here, I had the lobster which was lovely and definitely not overpriced. Others in my group had a fish curry and pulled pork sandwich, both of which were seemingly enjoyed. It's byob so bear that in mind. Oh and the Key Lime pie is unbelievable.

Great people, great food ! You might have to wait a bit for your dish but it is only because everything is very fresh and prepared on request.

In my opinion probably THE best food on the island and one of the cheapest. Had pulled pork on Christmas eve and it made me forget about not having home cooked Christmas dinner for a moment, thank you!
4/5 because the place is quite a walk, small and you will have to be lucky to get a seat. But this food is worth the extra 30 mins, trust me :) P.S.: don't forget the dessert and thank me later.

GREAT FOOD, and the nicest people you will ever meet! It started to downpour and they helped us settle in on the porch, where my wife and I got to talk to Chef and his wife for at least 30min while we ate. I was like being with family.

Great food at the most reasonable price on the island! BYOB makes it even cheaper. Lovely atmosphere. We ate multiple times on our trip because it was so good.

Such great food! We got suggested here from our snorkel guides and they definitely did not steer us wrong. It's a small menu but everything was very delicious! If you can save room for the carrot or chocolate cake.

Truely amazing food cooked by Juan and his wife. If you go, be sure to try the coconut fish curry - oh and save room for dessert as you'll be sorry if you miss out on a slice of killer key lime pie. I'm already planning our next visit.
