  Had a lovely dinner here just last night. The people working were very friendly. We started with delicious drinks from their drink menu. Then we had appetizers of jalapeno poppers which were so good. Don't worry, they aren't the frozen kind we are used to. They are made fresh and stuffed cheese and spinach and served with a cilantro dip. We also the a pear and bree on a crusty bread which was equally yummy. Luckily we went early so beat any dinner rush and while waiting for our food, we went to the balcony to watch the people go by. Another HUGE bonus to going early is during Happy Hour the drinks from the main menu and every appetizer on the menu (except the seafood ones) were HALF OFF. Yes, I think our poppers ended up being $3 US. WHAT! Dinner was a treat for all four in our party. The fish was ordered blackened Snook (that's the fish the day we were there) by one in our party and Chili lime snook by another. I had the vegetarian stir fry which was so tasty and surprised me with apples in it. For an after dinner drink treat, try a drink made with locally made coffee liqueur. Forget the name, but the server will know! Do not visit Placencia without a trip to this great restaurant!

  The jalapeño poppers were amazing! The eggplant bruschetta was disgusting! Almost ruined the whole meal. The pasta was ok, I wouldn’t go back except for the jalapeño poppers and a drink.

  Fish options excellent, but I felt the chicken was overcooked (breast meat without the bones is never my favorite) and so was the pork chop.
