READ THE WHOLE REVIEW!!!! Do not fly with them.. We booked because we were told “it’s faster and just as cheap as the water taxi” but that was to just have you purchase the tickets. We bought round trip, advised to go back to the Belize airport. Well we paid 200 US dollars round trip which wasn’t too bad. But come to find out they put it for the municipal airport which was less. When we found out we emailed and they said we were all set. When we got to the “airport” they advised us we needed to pay $50 US per person if we wanted to fly back to the airport. I advised the lady that we were not advised this and that they said we were all set but she said nothing was changed in the system. After taking some time we decided we rather pay $25 US for a taxi back to the airport then once we arrived. We received our boarding passes and sat. She then came over and said she must change them and gave us a new colored pass. No explaination. So We asked the man at the desk what it meant as another man said it’s a different flight. The guy at the desk said it meant nothing but we explained what someone else told us and he went “oh” and called out to get our luggage pulled off. Why we were switched i don’t know!! Nobody would tell us anything. The whole thing was sketchy. Then when on the flight the pilots were talking about how they didn’t have gas but would get it when they landed. So their plane was beeping the whole time saying no fuel how lovely we explained this experience to a few locals and everyone told us there are so many horror stories about this place and to never go here. I wish we knew this before we flew, but I’m hoping to spread the word for others.

Dishonest company. Consistently overlooks flights and delays your flight without telling you what happens. Would recommend spending the small premium on Maya air.

Absolutely the worst airline in the history of airlines. They overbook their flights and then lie to you about when the next flight is. It has happened twice, to and from Belize City.
