  Amazing whale shark dives. Against the odds, they managed to find us some whale sharks for us to gawk at. It felt like all the other operations out there were watching our boat and following our lead. Amazing day.

  I would never book at this dive shop again. We booked it and paid for our dives. Sent them the forms they requested and received an email before we left for our cruise, that we were all set up and they were looking forward to diving with us. Our cruise ship arrived at the port and we carried our gear to their dive shop. The rudely informed us that they sent us an email the night before cancelling our dive. We were on a cruise and they knew it. We had no email access. The kid at the counter told us that he thought it was due to only 2 people signing diving and they did not want to take only 2 people out. No other help was offered or even the names of the area dive shops. I emailed them when we got home to let them know how disappointed I was that we did not get to dive and they did not even respond to my email. Never again will I deal with the likes of this shop.

  We had a wonderfull experience with sea horse dive ! I succeed my open water courses with them . Everyone was really nice and competent. I recomend evryone diving with us (we went to silk caye and laughing birds caye) it's really safe and friendly! Allez y!!!!!!

  These guys are just the best. I went scuba diving with a mix of certified and new divers. The guides managed the diverse skill levels of the group flawlessly. Both new and experienced divers had a great time. They are very knowledgeable about the reef's life and focused on making sure it's we'll preserved.

  terrible experience a few month ago with this company.
  Booked 2 seats for a daily trip (snorkel + scuba) weeks before arrival in Placencia (2 days stay only). Just to secure excursion, emailed them the day before, and received a "oh sorry" email, saying dive master was ill and that trip was cancelled.
  Being ill is a kind of issue that happens, no pb. Having 1 dive master only in a diving company is a bit weird, but still, that happens. But not telling guests about that before excursion is absolutely not ok. I truly believed nobody was ill and they just cancelled trip because not enough people booked it, and they were expecting us to stay and pay with us as there would have been no alternative to find another company in the morning.
  
  My advice : go somewhere else.

  Seahorse Dive Shop have over 25 years of experience. Now boasting the Oldest Dive Shop in Placencia. Check out the new building open 9th April 2017 after Hurricane Earl destroyed the previous one August of 2016. They added a Palapa on the end of the dock for a waiting area.

  Went snorkeling with the dive shop. Staff were nice but didn't do much to make the trip great, which is what I've experienced elsewhere. Not a ton of communication, staff kept to themselves at lunch, and same during the boat ride back. The snorkeling was great, but a bunch of companies were doing the exact same activities as us and interacted much more with the guests. Those tour companies also brought nicer lunches (some grilled them right on the island) and beer for the guests. Would definitely use a different tour company if you want a more interactive experience with the crew, more bang for your buck re lunch, and overall a more welcoming experience.

  Everyone at Seahorse is very knowledgeable, professional and genuinely nice. I would recommend this business to everyone. Loved the lunch! It was a beautiful day of diving and snorkeling.

  I did their blue hole trip at the end of December and the crew was great! They pointed out great fish for me to take pictures of and kept us entertained on our 3hr boat out to the dove site. They keep their gear clean and I had a a problem with my regulator before the dive and they knew how to fix it quickly. The divemasters did a great job keeping the group together! I recommend them to anyone who wants to do a dive in Belize go with these guys!!

  Professional, very friendly, great service. We did our open water certification then 2 more extra days of diving.
