This has by far been the worst hotel experience. I got checked in here because of no availability in the area. I never came to the hotel the first night since I stayed working all night. After 3:30 pm the following room I was to be switch to another room as someone else had booked the room. I came in late the second night so tired and fell asleep. Upon waking up, two computers, signed checks and very important belongings were missing. The hotel staff had no idea what had happened to my belongings. It’s only after looking around that these were located. The nightmare of loosing my valuable information was horrific. To add insult to injury, they charged me for where my belongings were found. This is an insult! All in all, I agreed for them to charge it as any income gained can be used to improve their property. Quite nice outside but sub standard levels within. In addition, it can be used to better train their incompetent manager who asked his staff to record the situation but yet wanted to prohibit me to do the same.

Very happy with this place. A/C in the room was a good first impression -- it's a must in a Belizean summer. Free WiFi, clean rooms, friendly staff. Gave our group unlimited free water bottles from the fridge.

I stayed here for 8 days with a large group. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The place is newly built and although final touches are still being applied in some areas, it is clean and well maintained. It is in a lively district and most conveniences are within 2 minutes walking distance. It is open 24 hours with security on alert. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi; bottled water, a coffee and tea station, seasonal fruit and a paid laundry service. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable while the bathrooms have an upscale design with high-end amenities. I would suggest an upgrade to the internet bandwidth but overall, a wonderful stay.

I Pastor The Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church in San Ignacio Belize, My guest from the states stayed here at the beginning of April.
The hospitality by hotel staff and owner Mr. Leo were superb! I would go and meet my guest here and they really know how to take care of people.
Room rates are excellently priced.

We stayed at Maya Bella for 6 days in the middle of February 2017. The hotel had just been open for about 2 months and the owner was still working on some details, but overall our experience was outstanding. Owner/Manager Leo Silva and his staff were all extremely helpful with information about nearby tourist attractions, nearby restaurants, providing directions, etc.
There is secured parking under the hotel, available 24/7, and is easy walking distance to a great place for breakfast (Pops) and 2 very nice restaurants for dinner (Crave and Guava Limb).
