  Windy was wonderful! Nice clean hostel in a quieter part of town near a park, school, the river and market square, and a car rwntal shop nearby. Kitchen had the basics needed to cook. The television in the common room with movies, and hammocks on the porch, made for a relaxing stay of two nights. Stayed in a one of two 4-bed dorms with bath a door over, for a great rate. Quick in-house laundry service was a lifesaver! Thanks Windy!

  In over a year of travelling this is one of the nicest hostels I've been to. Private bathrooms for the dorms, proper shower pressure, proper toilets, so clean and the owner is the nicest dude you'll ever meet.

  I had a great time in Chaltunha Hostel! The hostel is clean, comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, guide books, balcony with a great view and hammock. 3 minutes by foot from the center. A great place to relax and meet new people. Windy the owner is great! She's super friendly and can help you with everything you need. The hostel has a washing machine you can use for free.
