The entire team of people operating Joe Jo's are simply amazing. The rooms were clean, neat, and very welcoming. Even though you're miles away from home, they open up the doors and welcome you in. The food included with the stay was delicious. The sunsets were breathtaking and you truly get a glimpse of island life!
I wish I could go back soon! Everyone was friendly. The food was great. Snorkeling was amazing!
Had an amazing weekend at Joe Jo's. Carmen's food is "to die for". Anyone interested in snorkeling on the largest living barrier reef in the world and just simply relaxing, this is the place to be!!
Very relaxing cabana on the water. Louis, the owner, was a great host. Daily meals were excellent! Great snorkeling around the island.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The upkeep on the resort was wonderful and clean. We were spoiled staying somewhere else nearby first and this didn't quite live up par as a price comparison at $245 a night. Kirk's bar was an awesome distraction during a rainy spell.
Great place, clean cabins, really good food.
Just got off the boat from Joe Jo's by the Reef. This place is truly amazing. Everything is brand new; completely renovated in 2014. The cabanas are very clean and right in front of/or over the water. The chef Carmen is great and will work with you on any dietary restrictions you may have. The best part of the trip was snorkeling with Nolan and Nobel- if you are on Tobacco Caye you must go out on the boat with them and experience the beautiful underwater aquarium. These guys are locals and know the best spots to go. Make sure to use Nolan to take the water taxi back and forth from Dangriga to Tobacco caye. We didn't know this and had to wait for several hours in Dangriga on another guy to fill up his boat with passengers before we could head out. Looking forward to another trip back here in the future!
