Always ALWAYS get the special. We had fresh caught snapper fried whole with split peas and coconut rice and it was amazing. The conch fritters are spiced just right, and the drinks are strong. Great atmosphere, steps from the ocean, and staff is great! I would definitely recommend. Know that island time runs slower than you do, so don't expect McDonalds speed.

Conch Fritters were my first and delicious. The tarter sauce seems to be homemade and is my favorite. Which I could bottle it.

Worst stuff ever! We went there to eat a fish which we caught ourselfs! It was told to us that preparing the fish would cost 20 B$! In the end they charged us 40 B$ because we were 2 persons eating! 40 B$ for a fish which we caught ourself!!!!??? For a Glas of wine and a rum coke they charged another 32 B$! Wherever you go in Placencia it is better and much cheaper! We hadn’t really finished our plate and one of the ladies came out and asked us if we were finished. Both of us said no but she still took away the plate although there was still fish on it! In the end we almost got kicked out! The stuff was very unfriendly from the beginning on! We will never go there again and hope nobody else makes the mistake to go there! Horrible restaurant! It’s a shame we let the self caught fish prepare there!

Wish we were able to taste the good food we read about. We sat there for 30 minutes with no one coming to take our food or drink order. This was for breakfast. Two stars for ambiance.

Was in Placencia for 5 days and this was the best place for dinner as a group. Everything came out great and was delicious and im a cook (not there) myself!

The pineapple smoothie is to die for. Lime shrimp best meal. Belizean lime pie. OH, I had it twice while there. I could sit and watch the beach for hours.

Place was never opened during my stay Aug 17-21st, although the signage only stated closed on Wednesdays and Google maps giving a currently open posting. It looks like a cozy spot but I will never know.

Went in around 10A on Sunday for breakfast. 2 waitresses working 6 tables. Took 15 minutes to bring waters and coffee, another 30 minutes to bring food (scrambled eggs). Other tables waiting too. Must have been problem with kitchen staff but hard to tell since no explanation from waitress. I would normally blame it on island time but happy to say no other place we went to in Placencia had such poor service.

Food was alright. I ordered the spicy cilantro chicken - not spicy at all. It was absolutely slathered in mayonnaise, and the tomatoes on it were canned instead of fresh. The mashed potatoes also tasted overcooked.
