  What a perfect little place!! A quiet spot along the lagoon and only a short walk across the street from the beach, shops and restaurants. We only stayed 2 nights but wished we had planned to stay longer! Our little bungalow was so comfortable and clean, we couldn't have asked for anything better! We definitely would love to stay here again when we travel back to Placencia

  We didn't stay there. The review is on their kayak rental. The rate is affordable, and we kayaked from the Lagoon to the Placencia Caye, the lagoon and the sea is beautiful, and the owner is helpful and kind to help us decide on the kayak route. Will go back again!

  It's like being in a jungle Lodge but located in a beach community. lots of Bea trees and birds and wild iguanas all over the place, there is also a private dock on the lagoon with a palapa and hammocks making it one of the best places to watch the sun sets from.

  Lucky and Erin are the owners. They are taking very good care of us, very helpful with our questions. Their entire staff try their best to make our stay here as comfortable and relaxing as possible. We highly recommend this establishment for a short vacation or extended stay.

  We rented bicycles at Captain Jaks for 12 Belizian dollars for half a day. The bicycles where of good quality and well maintained. We cycled all the way north to the end of the peninsula which was great fun. You pass a local village and lot of nice places for a private swim.
  
  It’s recommended to end the day at the far end of Placencia for the sunset.

  Marian & her husband, Tuan were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to rent another golf cart and possibly stay at one of Captain Jak's properties.

  Excellent service! Rented golf carts for a week. On our last day a tire started getting low. One phone call and a few minutes later they met us roadside with a new cart and sent us on our way. Minimal downtime during our vacation. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

  This is a nice clean place to stay on the lagoon. Erin and Lucky will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. You can't go wrong.
