Beachfront location. Sushi Tuesdays and Thursdays seem to be very popular. Wish they had more grilled options like their name suggest.
One of the nicest places on the south side of the island! They have sushi on Tuesday and Thursday! I ate fried prawn 🦐 heads tonight! With the eyeballs and everything! Delicious!
One of the best places to eat on the island. Whenever I am in San Pedro I usually have either Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner there every day. First rate staff and owners. They donate so much money to charity.
This was my wife and mine's splurge dinner. Lobster with an ocean view.
The food was OK, a little too buttery for my taste. My wife's food was a little salty, but still enjoyable.
The big sell with the Blue Water Grill is the great view of the ocean.
But there are other places you can go for this.
Lovey place to sit and watch the ocean. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating -- the food was excellent too! We made a quick stop on the island on our way through -- we stayed overnight at Sun Breeze and had an early breakfast here Definitely recommend the Fry Jacks! :)
Good food. Go there for Sushi if you can on the island. This is more of an upscale dining on the beach feeling rather than a beach bar and grill type of atmosphere.
Unfortunately the service here was very hit or miss, although the food was solid. Really wanted to like this place given their mission and charity. Price was a bit higher than other similar places but quality seems higher here as well.
Waiter Service - Our first dinner, we had fantastic table service, I think our waiter was Alex (5/5). Our second dinner failed on so many fronts. We seemed to be forgotten about multiple times by both our waiter and the assistant waiter and did not see our waiter for 30+ minutes.
Hostess - The hostess service the 3 different visits to the restaurant was poor each time. Our latest visit we waited 30 minutes to get seated despite having reservations and checking in with the host multiple times. She kept waving us off saying that our table was being prepared even though we saw plenty of empty tables for 2.
Food - Overall it was good, probably 4/5. Lobster with mango habanero was good and may be a better choice than the mixed grill. The lobster pizza was very good overall, even with the lobster being over powered by the other flavors.
The food was good but I was expecting more for the price. I would have rather explored the island and found a different establishment to eat at.
This is an awesome place for a good dinner, the place is very well decorated, the food and drinks good and the service is in the same line. If you want to take your girlfriend to a nice place now you know where. I am attaching pictures of the menu too
The best house ceviche I've enjoyed in the Caribbean. Cold and firm melange consisting of all the promised seafood in a wonderfully piquant citrus juice marinade.
Great Ambiance - The food very good. I expect more from seafood at an oceanside restaurant. Honestly the shrimp is better in Utah. Not sure if it's the preparation, but the shrimp has been tough in all the restaurants here so far. The lobster was good! The ocean view and ambiance is excellent!
Amazing restaurant and favorite on the island. We ordered grilled lobster, lobster ceviche, and seafood pasta. The view during dinner was gorgeous also. Also they accept credit card.
Literally one of the top restaurants on the island. For lunch try the pork belly tacos or the Cobb salad. It’s the best. Sushi night is Tuesday and Thursday. Check that out as well
My boyfriend and I eat at the Blue Water Grill every time we go down to Belize. It's my favorite place in San Pedro! Can't go wrong with the coconut shrimp sticks and the ribs. I love the grouper too. The waitstaff is fun and the view can't be beat. They have sushi on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the specials are always creative and tasty. If you go to Belize without stopping here, you'll regret it!
Great food, friendly and fast service. A bit on the pricy side, though. We had several sea food options and all of them delicious. Definitely a recommendation, especially on a Monday when most of the other restaurants are closed.
Most of the food is really good. Don't opt for the lobster dinner. We had 2 people order it and it was overcooked and underwhelming. Drinks were good and the view is amazing
Incredible food and service. Everything was awesome that we had here and the view cannot be beat!
Got lucky. This is lobster fest week. The waiter recommended the lobster poorboy. It was great. And the sangria is even better. Worth at least 2 classes.
Snuck in an early reservation. They are busy so you will need one. Great service and great food. Very diverse menu. Something for everyone. Priced a bit high but well worth it. Great beach front dining experience. Pizzas are delicious and plenty for one person. I did the sushi. Fresh and well prepared. Have the gruber cart drink and be sure to get the ribs as an appetizer. Top notch. Only 4 stars because the waiter pointed out gratuity before i left the table. It is customary, where i am from, to leave the tip on the table, not with the bill. No biggie. Great dinner place!
Right on the water with a nice breakfast menu - great options and delicious food! Service was a little disinterested (maybe hung over?) otherwise it would have been a 5-star experience.
My cousin and I had dinner at the Blue Water Grill and it was outstanding. I would definitely recommend the tuna poke salad, which was excellent. The service was great and the hostess went out of her way to call us a taxi when we were leaving. This was our last dinner in Belize and we certainly saved the best for last! Don't miss it!
Blue Water Grill hosted a wedding rehearsal that was outrageously fun! Servers and hosts were wonderful about making sure everyone was taken care of. We had several other meals here throughout the weekend, and all were fantastic. We're headed back to San Pedro in a few weeks, and this will be our first stop!
Absolutely love this placeit's not only a "must go" for any trip to San Pedro, it's worth repeat visits while on that trip.
The regular menu features some real standouts--I dream about the Mongolian style ribs--and they do a great job putting a creative and delicious twist on island cuisine. (Not to mention the sushi nights that are among the best I've ever seen or had.)
And for those looking for a dash of social responsibility to go with their amazing meal, BWG is 100% committed to its community and is constantly finding ways to give back and improve the lives of those in San Pedro!
