The atmosphere is very calming and inviting. Food and drinks are excellent and the owner Michael is an extremely nice man, Pablo one of the wait staff has a great memory always addressing your every need by memory! I loved being at Aji's always exactly what I needed whether I was hungry, needed a drink or just a dip in the pool! ❤🌴😎🦎🦐❤

Just left Aji 45 minutes ago! Very friendly, prompt and knowledgeable about the menu!
Pablo was very welcoming and set us up with a table waterside! He recommended the red snapper! What a great choice!

Great ambiance - romantic little spot on the water, complete with twinkly lights. Food was just ok, nothing remarkable. The service was great, very friendly.

Aji continues to be one of my favorite places on Ambergris Caye. The views, the food, and the staff are all exceptional. They also have the best mojitos and key lime pie EVER. HIGHLY recommend!

Spent 6 great nights on the island and ate dinner out 5 times. 2 of those nights we ate at Aji Tapa. 5 stars all around!!
Food and cocktails were amazing, great staff, awesome atmosphere. Check out the cool bathroom sinks!
Price is average compared to other restaurants on island.
If it's a windy or a cold evening, reccomend a jacket. If it's raining. Go somewhere else

The food was ok. It was weird because they didn't tell us it was cash only till after dinner when we had to pay the bill. The ambience is nice, the service was strange it took forever for food and drinks to arrive and everyone else around us were getting service before us even if they were seated after us.
The paella looked good and maybe that's what you should get here. They have scorpions around on the beach here so be warned about it. I had one on my foot I was fortunate it didn't sting me. Might be better to go early in the evening when there's day light.

We passed the restaurant a few times during our stay in Ambergris Caye. We had no idea after walking through the yard, down the path that a beautiful setting would be on the water. We had a great dinner, the service was amazing and they brought us a sample of their coconut cream pie (which was delicious) and key lime pie (which my husband loved.

We enjoyed our romantic dinner together.

This place is a must for an evening on the water eating perfect local seafood fare. My fiancé and I went here for dinner and the ambiance was spectacular, service top notch and the food was some of the best we had during our visit. The price was also very reasonable. Highly recommend making it here for a night if you are staying in San Pedro/Ambergis Caye.
