I moved to Ambergris Caye Belize in 2006 and for the most part still loving this quirky fun island.

This place has so much to offer. Beautiful secret beach, good food, and plenty of activities. We were there for one week and never ran out of things to do! Loved the shopping and natural wood items for sale. The sea grass was nasty, but what's an island to do. Everyday they had people on the beach cleaning it up. Would definitely recommend as great vacation spot. 👍

Brahma Blue was the ideal tropical vacation spot. Beautiful, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Can't wait to go again!

The island is very laid-back but there is a lot of things to do like cave tubing or the Mayan ruins that was fun. I was in the water more then half the time snorkeling. Swam with nurse sharks and sting Ray's, then a big loggerhead turtle.

This island isn’t maybe the most beautiful place on Earth but offers many attractions especially for divers like beautiful reef full of species including sharks which seem to be friendly there allowing even touching them. This is excellent place to spend winter holidays in warm climate and water having very good food in local restaurants and enjoying Caribbean atmosphere.

This island was amazing!!! Must dive and fish when visiting! Shopping is super fun too. Must see places: Melt, The Truck Stop, Ambar Jewelry, Belizean Arts, and The Gallery of San Pedro Just a few I can remember off the top of my head. Be prepared for some golf cart traffic and a little trash They literally use trash to build up the ground on the island (this is what I was told by a few locals).

The best place in all of Central America / Caribbean. Friendly people, great views and activities make Ambergris the premiere destination for vacation or retirement.

I really was surprised to see how messy and crowded this Island is. I have been to multiple islands that have a far better ambiance, better beaches, better shops/Cafe's/restaurants, etc. At least this is true if you get close to or in San Pedro. The only big upside is that this island is close to the Belize barrier reef and some marine reserves.

A beautiful island that has the second largest reef in a distance of less than a mile. The island is known for fishing, snorkeling. The night life is great with several hubs and pubs bars. The beach are all public and the docks are accessible for anyone from 6 to 6.
