you get a lovely view of the area from up here and its even more beautiful during the sunset. the view of the valley from up here looks brilliant and the weather is windy and cool. The trek up here is epic and one of the highlights of the trip. THE HORSES ONLY TAKE YOU HALFWAY UP. TO THE CAFETERIA. you'll have to make the rest of your journey on foot
Paro Taktsang, is a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred site and the temple complex is located in the cliff-side of the upper Paro valley in Bhutan.
Whole trekking area at Paro is full of long pine trees. Parking area is large and at the entrance you will find lots of local shops selling artifacts and sovnoiur gifts. You can also buy hiking sticks to your further hiking to Taksang monastery. :)
This place serves as a the base camp to Taktsang trail.
It has a few souvenir shops, ticketing counter & taxi parking.
The parking lot, which also doubles up as the staging ground for the climb to Tiger's Nest, is a bit disappointing compared to the rest of Bhutan. It's quite an unclean place, and has a bunch of hawkers selling overpriced goods just like any other touristy place in the world. Especially disappointing was the behaviour of the people who offer horses on rent for people who do not want to make the climb on foot. While it's no worae than most other such popular tourist destinations in the world, it's a ride shock compared to the reception one gets at other tourist attractions in Bhutan
It can get really packed and chaotic in holiday seasons.
Located right next to the river, it's a great place for photography also
Car park and Taksang monastry Ticket office.
Do not forget to buy a ticket or else you will not be allowed to enter monastry
The gift centre here near the parking lot is very pocket friendly and like all other people in Bhutan, they are very sweet and polite
You can park your vehicles before going to Tiger Nest Safe place for your Vehicles
The people are sensinble and help other people in parking.
Beautiful place with surrounding greenery and starting point of tiger nest tracking. Ticket counter for tracking ticket (general)cost 500 nu and for student 250 nu
Parking lot for the Paro- Taksang trail. It serves as the starting point for the famed Tatsang trail in Bhutan leading to the Tiger's Nest Monastry. Cars are allowed only upto this point, after which travellers need to hike upto the monastry
Nothing to eat no shade for vehicles or enough space for extra vehicles
Good coverage.
Sufficient parking
Its the last point the Taxi can go. For going up to Taktsang you can walk or can hire a horse ride.
this parking place offer cheap souvenirs
