LUNGCHU TSE GOEMBA is about 3.5 kilometres uphill from the Dochula pass roadpoint. The trials towards the GOEMBA is generally covered with RHODODHENDRON flowers and gets to breath the purest air in its flavour and makes every walking steps magical.
The GOEMBA has a strong significance to Guru Rinpochey and draws back to 17th century history in Bhutan.
Visit this place and make your every second magnificent.

trekked here from Dochu La; about 90 minutes; great views from here, all around; chillier, note the elevation: 3569m; from here i trekked(descent) to Trashigang gompa and onward(descent) to Hongtsho village, on the main highway, below Dochu-La (on the Thimpu side);
