Very good hotel for stay. Polite and punctual hotel staff. Good amenities available. Spa available (extra charges applicable). Location of hotel is superb.

Bad experience. we have booked deluxe room five months ago.At the time to our visit they are not in position to give us booked room and offer standard rooms. They allotted our room to other people. we have asked to management for the solution but instead of giving response they told us to pack up and go elsewhere. All our visit to Bhutan good response to every where and people are frendly but this incident was horrible.

Good ambience, average food, amazing location. Rooms are decent. Staff is polite. WiFi might be slow but it's not their fault. Your on a mountain.

It's a wonderful place to stay. The lake view behind the hotel is mesmerizing. Their dining place is great and it has also the view of lake. Hotel rooms are great featuring all the amenities. Nice ambience.

Nice peaceful place for rest rejuvenation. View from the room was excellent facing the mo Chu river. Rooms were very neat clean with all facilities. I being a pure vegetarian got my choice food here. No problems. Staff was polite & courteous

Very good location But staff hospitality is very poorthe manager behaves as the owner of the hotel and is very rude.. however the female staff is very helpful and good No services. Room has bathtub But no stopper Dining table is there but no room service No warbrobe.. no TV.. and staff behavior is not good . 2 stars are only for view from balcony Rest is not recommended

Pros -
1. The hotel is located in an amazing location,just beside the river. One can experience sunrise and sunset by sitting on their balcony.
2. The staffs are courteous and always happy to help. They will help you with anything and everything even at odd hours.
3. The rooms and bathrooms are splendid. Extremely spacious and properly furnished.

Cons.-
1. Food quality is not good.

Inference -
This hotel definitely deserves to be on your list if you visit Punakha.

The property is located at beautiful place.
River breeze and view from terrace and room make you say Aah this
Comfort & cleanliness is above the 5star Mark.
Staff is so polite and carrying in nature.
Had experienced massage at spa,It's just wonderful.
I wish my stay were of more days at this hotel.
Just being at room or at restaurant make you feel at ease and at peace
It is really soul enchanting experience.
Gratitude to you all who is responsible in any way to let me and my friends feel this.
Love light and gratitude again.
Any way rating is very physical stuff can not rate that view of nature and care of people ,they all had enriched my heart.

The rooms were nice, but view was blocked mostly due to bad exterior design on 1st floor. Though above floor level will have unblocked view of Mo Chu and Po Chu. The service and food was okayish. Being a 3* hotel, I expected much more after experiencing Gakiling Guest House, Phobjika and Samyae Resort, Bumthang. Still considering the price, I’d say it’s a VFM option.

Amazing view from the balcony and the terrace Located by the side of a beautiful river. Though architectural planning of this hotel is not good, rooms were spacious and facilities were more or less satisfactory.

It is a very ill maintained hotel.The room I was allotted to stay was quite downwards.From the reception I have to exit from the building and then re enter from the other gate,go down two stairs,then reach the room.The room was ok but without any view.Th bathroom was horrible without any ventilation what so ever and was stinking badly.The restaurant service is very poor and take a lot of time to serve .The food served is average.
I shall never recommend any one to stay at this hotel.This was the worst hotel in our Bhutan trip.Definitely avoid this hotel.

Pros:Rooms are quite big and nice. Toilet is really like a 4star hotel's standard. Having big varanda attached with every room. location also beautiful. Overall I like the property.
Cons: there were some kind of smell we checked in. They need to spray multiple times to make it ok. Food is too bad.
