Norbuling hotel was a pleasant surprise as we had booked it online. Its comfortable, neat and clean, centrally located. The staff is very polite. You can walk to any other eating joint if you wish to try . We had a lovely time there.

Our room heater caught fire.

That was really really scary. the room was okay but a bit claustrophobic for my taste.

and the room caught fire!

we stamped it out. the hotel changed our room and were very concerned and understanding and took care of it but STILL!

A very good hotel to stay in Thimphu at a reasonable price. Of course there are better hotels but they are pricier. This is just on the main road. Only issue is that you have to pay for parking.

Very good hotel with big clean rooms. Some executive rooms overlook the street and you have a view of the archery grounds as well as the mountains. The reception staff are welcoming, hospitable, polite and helpful. The room upgrade was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is excellent, and its staff are helpful, and will accommodate your food requirements if possible. Overall, a very enjoyable and comfortable stay.
