Learn and Grow in knowledge - this center is a jewel in the crown for information on the Black-necked Crane. We had an enlightening conversation about the habitat with the crew there who are very passionate when sharing their experiences and knowledge.
We also invested time in watching the Documentary about the Black necked crane - it explains why do these majestic birds visit Phobjikha and the deep connect that these birds have with the land and its people.
There are also telescopes set up in the viewing gallery for you to observe the beautiful birds going about their day while at the marsh land.

An excellent place in Bhutan !
It's good when the black necked cranes visit. Perfect place to see them. With Swarovski binoculars provided, tourists can watch the birds. But during off seasons when the birds are not there, this is just a normal tourist information centre.
These beautiful birds can be seen only in Bhutan in winter. They fly away to Tibet in March.
