Buddhas effortlessly manifest infinite different forms to benefit sentient beings. Even though each form has exactly the same enlightened essence, in order to communicate with sentient beings in different ways, some forms appear as deities who are the manifestation of specific enlightened qualities. For example, Avalokiteshvara is the manifestation of compassion, Manjushri is the manifestation of wisdom, and Green Tara is the manifestation of the removal of obstacles.

I think rather than wasting time seeing Thimpu , Paro . People should more visit Phobjika valley & Bhumthang .
Excellent for nature loving people .
This place is among the last places in Himalayas to experience Wilderness. It's a huge huge valley full of nothingness but peace, tranquility, black necked cranes (in winters) and nature only. If you want to witness how it is to live among nature, this place is for you.
Don't expect too much luxury, although there are 3-5 star hotels. It's a long way from Thimphu and Punakha and roads are being widened by govt as on Feb 2018.
This place is heaven. The entire valley is so beautiful. Be it green trees or wet filed, everything is soooooo soooooo beautiful. The nature's trail trek is amazing. You can actually get to see black necked crain from very close view. I had a very good experience in the valley. Looking forward to visit this place again!!!!!!
This place is awesome to get rid of city life

I came to know of Phobjika or Valley of Black Neck Cranes from National Geographic. to my suprise when I asked Make My Trip at Kolkata, their ever helping manager told me that he can arrange a trip. The Black Neck Cranes are a feast for eyes. they are height of a goat, wing spread is about 1.5 mtrs.and a huge bird. they are good fliers too with such a heavy body of about 5 kg. Few seconds and they can reach a height of about a km. There are very few hotels. The valley itself is picturesque. There is a Crane trail of about 2 km by foot, but the land is marshy with wooden planks at some places. But if you want to see the crane dance it is the place. But you can see Black neck Cranes only in winter and temperature is near zero, the marshy part less than that. you must be well equipped.
