This was the best hotel we have stayed so far and in our whole trip to Bhutan. The candid traditional design in wooden architecture with a splendid view of Gangtey Valley from the balcony just in front of room was pleasant to the eye. Being a 3* hotel, you are bound to get a 3* treatment which feels awesome. They even provided shaving kit on each of the rooms. If you are visiting Phobjika, I’d say look no where beyond Gakiling Guest House.

The room was reasonably big. The bed was comfortable. Bit costly when compared to other places in Bhutan. Food was good and the price was reasonable. The views from the hotel is very good. We visited in march last week. There were no cranes at that time. Nothing much to do. Can avoid phibjika from Mar to Oct as the cranes seem to come only during winter.

This hotel is very close to black-necked crane information centre.The panoramic view from the hotel balcony is very beautiful.The room was good and comfortable and it was a very nice experience.
