I just completed a 6 day tour with Khandu of Bhutan Tusk with 2 other rider friends and we had an amazing time. We contacted him about 3 weeks ago and from day one he answered all our annoying questions and planned the trip to our liking. We requested a mix of tarmac twisties + light trail rides and he provided both. The hotels were top and the highlight of the day was the amazing choice of lunch stops. We never had a chance to complain and if possible I would rate him higher than 5 stars. I would love to come back and ride with Bhutan Tusk motorcycle tours.

The Kingdom of Happiness can only be seen in the company of Bhutan Tusk Motorcycle Tours (BTMT) a reliable professional attentive accommodating and gentle service provided throughout the tour. My first visit to Bhutan is a memorable adventure that I will surely repeat with the one and only BTMT. In addition, Khandu, the owner, personally took care of us 2 girls from different sides of the world and coached, entertained and showed us the best of the best of Western part of Bhutan. Khandu made sure we had a good blend of riding and sight seeing along with his certified guide and extra support team Karma and Chencho we received all the information on culture history and tips on riding in different terrain accomodating our different skills. Bhutan is very safe however make sure when choosing a Tour company. Choose main company without middle men.. As there are many who would claim this job and that would not only give unreliable service but increase the costchoose BTMT the best motorcycling Guru of all ❤ 👍🙏

We now know why Bhutan is the kingdom of happiness, my fiancee and I were so impressed with the level of service we received on our tour. The riding was the best road riding I have ever done in my life, hours of beautiful twisting mountain roads. Our guides were amazing and so knowable. Without a shadow of a doubt one of the best countries I have ever traveled and we will be recommending TUSK to all of our friends.

When I started searching for a good company for motorcycle tours, Bhutan TUSK motorcycles was the only one which stood out for me with the kind of tour I was looking for and reasonable cost. Khandu and team(Tenzin and Chencho) ensured that my whole 9 days trip was like clock-work and was everything I expected for. Fun and efficiency is what I look for in a tour company and Khandu delivered more than I expected. Thanks again Khandu!!!!!

I went for a five day tour starting in Paro, then Thimpu, then to Phobjika valley, and then back to Paro. It was truly amazing! The service is really high. I basically had three people serving me 24 hours per day.
One thing that worried me before going was the traffic and safety of riding a bike in Bhutan. The setup is basically (at least for me) that there is a "lead bike" that goes in the very front, and then there is a "follow car". This essentially "boxes you in" making it tremendously safe. My fear was that traffic would be like in India, with complete chaos. But, to my surprise the traffic very calm, especially outside of Thimpu.
Another thing that worried me was my level of riding a bike. I've ridden some, but it has been several years. The introduction to the bike was really undramatic. We took a few loops at the airport, and then we went off. The owner even told me that he has had people that has never ridden a bike before, and in these cases he does a longer intro. He is really accommodating to your pace and riding style. This was really important to me as safety was super key being a father of 3, and my wife being pregnant.
The roads around Thimpu and Paro are all paved. As you venture outside you should expect to find some unpaved roads. That said, it wasn't too difficult. I can imagine others wanting more of an adventure in terms of riding the bike, in which case I'm sure there is offroad and what not. For me however, this wasn't what I was seaking.
I'm not an expert on bike quality, but we didn't have a single breakdown or anything, and the bike felt very reliable.
Apart from the riding of a bike which really is what sets TUSK apart. Of course Bhutan is amazing. Food is a real experience. And the landscape will blow your mind - let alone the people. If you want to get a different experience, ask for a homestay. You'll need to ask for this in advance as the government requires agencies to book 3+ star hotels.

Bhutan Tusk is a great place to rent motorbikes and even better for adventure tours. My friend and I took Royal Enfieds from them and visiting the Chele La Pass, it was a brilliant experience. Bikes were in great condition and our ride was fun. Best part - Khando and Chris, the guys behind Bhutan Tusks, are great hosts and very friendly folks. I look to go on my next biking trip again with Bhutan Tusk.

This is the only company in BHUTAN with motorcycle experince
This is a great team.
I recently completed a 10 day trip starting from Phuntsoling to Gelephu.
Covered Paro, Haa Valley, Thimpu, Phobjika , Punakha and Gelephu.
Khandu and his team are thorough professional and know motorcycles. I did a solo trip with my own motorcycle. I was provided with a road captain and support vehicle. They also rent out bikes.
I was given very good accommodation including home stay and farmhouse. All places were very good and clean.Food was good as well.
T.P and Phuntso both of them showed me the way of life in Bhutan and i have learned a lot.
Khandu is a bike enthusiast, rider and also part of charity clubs. He is one guy you want to know and have on your speed dial if you are on a bike in Bhutan.
Great team and Great enthusiasm and most important everything was as per the agreed plan .
On a personal note, i lost my wallet on the last day and these guys ensured i was delivered in Guhawati.

I had a fabulous time in Bhutan, thanks to Khandu and his crew (T.P and Tshering) at T.U.S.K Motorcycles, Bhutan. Very helpful and knowledgeable people who are ready to go that extra mile to make you feel comfortable, and help you explore this brilliant country with their recommendations for places to visit and stay at. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore this country on two wheels.

I had the most wonderful day with Tusk - Khandu led us up into the pristine forest where there was no one around for miles. He is safe, professional, funny, and a great guide. The bikes were is great condition, nearly new and impeccably maintained. I hope to ride with Khandu again before I leave Bhutan.

Renting an Enfield from Bhutan Tusk Motorcycle was a very smooth process. The owner, Mr.Khandu, being a biker himself, goes out of his way to help his clients and understands the expectations of bikers. His service is simply excellent. Many thanks to him for making our maiden international bike trip very memorable. My wife and I will cherish this experience for a long long time.

If there is an optionn to give more then five stars, I would give it. Their service and behavior is excellent. I hired a bike for one day on 12th december,2016. Bike was in perfect condition and didn't give any problem whatsoever. Owner himself assured me, in case of any emergency, he would do anything necessary to get me back safely. Moreover, the owner is a rider himself. So he knows the bike very well, and can even suggest you a better itinerary that meets your taste.
