The Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS) the national radio and and the only television service from Bhutan. A public service corporation is the only television service to broadcast from inside the Bhutanese border.

BBS is very popular nationwide and is available via satellite feed in 42 countries. With programs in English and Dzongkha, the national service broadcaster has recently launched a 24x7 second channel BBS2, with more programming on entertainment.

With private channel operators in the bidding, BBS will see a competition soon.
