Lovely place rich in history . A must see
An important piece of the history of our culture that everyone should be aware of.
was a beautiful day at Heritage park what a nice place to visit the people who attended us were and are great people made us feel right at home. the view from the sacred place is amazing!
Nicest part of this park is the ocean & that’s about it. Essentially an open garbage dump with a apocalyptic back drop of sorts.
Situated on New Providence Islands south western shore line, it does have some beautiful cliffs & rock formations along the waters edge although it smelled of petroleum.
This portion of the park could be very pretty but, at the moment it looks like a complete mess either through mis-management or just complete lack of caring ?..
In the US this would be a “Superfund” site.
The fact that some visitors pay money to come here is astonishing.
The Sacred Women statues & the Pirate stairs are located here and if you really want to see them, I recommend taking a taxi.
So to recap-
*does have a tremendous litter problem*
A garage dump complete with Rat 🐀 infestation is on the opposite side of the road, close to power plant & pier. This should be an obvious health concern & something that Bahamian government could have taken care of along time ago.
For the love of Pete, somebody please clean this place up 😢
Photographers will like this spot as it is a good place to catch a sunset 🌅
Was very nice interesting and the lady know what she was talking about

Oil spill 2016, keep away from the water if it has oil visible. The staff are wonderful and the prices are manageable.
