This is such a beautiful place to go when on an excursion. High tide leaves fun places to swim and low tide exposes a lot of interesting pools that warm up in the sun making them very relaxing. Even in rough weather the crashing waves are a lot of fun to be swashed by, but one has to be careful not to be swashed away. They can get powerful and a little dangerous.

Dramatic backdrop of the Atlantic crashing into limestone cliffs of Eleuthera. Serves as a great geography lesson into how the craggy landscape develops over eons and eons.

Atlantic was angry while we were there, cutting off the cliff walk down to the baths. We were able to view from the cliff top, 20 to 30 feet up. As you can see, the waves were washing out any hope of hiking down.

Note: The "baths" are tide and ocean calmness based. There is very little signage and you may pass right by when heading north. There is a small pull off that can handle 3, maybe 4 cars max. There's no "map" or "route" marked. Just hike out to the ocean and turn left. You'll find it.

Watching the power of the ocean smashing on the rocks is overwhelming. It is a tricky walk but doable with children - just be sure to take sneakers and watch for the black sea urchins in the pools. Be prepared to sit at eye level of the ocean and watch the waves fill the tub. Investigate and be amazed at the intricate designs etched by the ocean in the stones.

Amazing place to see, not that hard of a hike, went there with young kids and it was a little scary but all in all it was exciting! Tip: don't go there on ruff days.

Truly awe inspiring! Beautiful and definitely a must see! I thought I reviewed this already but will do again. Make sure to wear swim shoes/Crocs with hard bottom or sneakers and then change into swim shoes. Flip flops not advised. You need your toes covered because it is extremely rocky. The path down is really not a oath but an area to the center and kettle to the left where the rocks slope or go downward. If you have a toddler or child 45lbs or under (approximately 4 and under) I strongly suggest getting a back carrier and wearing them down the rocks and when you walk back up. I saw people struggling with a 3 and 4 year olds. Once there it is really cool for them. Look out for the sea urchins. They are harmless but don't step on them. I advise you to keep your shoes on. Cool when you just sit there and small fish swim around you. Really beautiful.
