Love the pool table. We loved the traditional smoked meats. The Canadian guy definitely knows good barbeque. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Love the live music. The band has a great blues sound. We had a great time and highly recommend this for a night out. My only complaint is the price of the alcohol. OMG!! Outrageously priced drinks. $14 for a Gray Goose and orange juice in a small glass. For a minute there I thought I was in South Beach. Figure out a way to get your drink pricing down and you'll get 5 stars. It's pretty bad when I spend $70 for 5 drinks and I can't get drunk. But we had a good time. I'd go back but bring your check book

Absolutely enjoyed my experience at Philosophy. The restaurant is located in the open outdoors with a bar, DJ stand, and picnic tables for seating. A great place to have dinner under the stars. There is also a spot tucked away with seats overlooking a lake. The food is affordable, tender and delicious. Some nights host live bands, karaoke and mechanical bull riding. You can also play jumbo jenga with friends.

Best place at this end of the island. Went on a Thursday night. Best night to go. Live band, drinks, pool table and other thing to keep you amused. Nice outdoor bar.. heaps of seating. Good staff.

Oh wow i love this place. It is high energy and equipped staff.. their prices are also reasonable.. nestled away in it's own tranquilled spot where you are not bothered by the outside world. The food is just awesome, from the ribs to the pull pork sandwich i wish i could eat all. My next i will be sure to take my friends

Where to start? The food was great, the service was great, the atmosphere is amazing (off the beaten path, surrounded by trees, tons of lighting / including the parking lot), lots of seating. Honestly, probably one of the more enjoyable meals I’ve had while visit Nassau (4th trip here). Worth the drive.

Liked it -Unique concept & cool location but, way off the beaten path.
Definitely a different vibe with an outdoor stage (live music) and lots of picnic tables & no waiters or waitresses-you have to put in your order & go get it.
