This is the best meal we had on the island. My husband doesn’t like fish and he even liked my grouper. Warning it is a rocky, steep drive to get there, but well worth the views and atmosphere. We were there for dinner, so it was starting to get dark and the mosquitos were pesky, but I’d imagine lunch would be super nice out.
Beautiful restaurant and friendly staff. Wish we had gotten earlier reservations so we could enjoy the views. The service was a bit slow but maybe that's just because they're on island time. We still really enjoyed it and the food was delicious. I had the Blu Seafood Risotto and my husband had the grilled Lobster. It is a bit of a drive as we were staying at Grand Isle but totally worth it. Highly recommend.
We had dinner at the restaurant and it was the best meal we had on the island. Our seafood risottos were delicious and the service was excellent.
We went to Blu a few nights ago for dinner. Hard to find as sign if very faded and unlit. Drove up a disaster of a driveway (good thing we have a truck) and parked. The waitress came out and asked us to move down the driveway because she was saving that parking spot for someone else. We moved and then trudged back up the drive to the restaurant. My sandals and feet were covered in dirt. We got seated and ordered. They started us with stale bread announcing it was fresh baked. I ordered Ceaser Salad which had a jarred dressing and bagged croutons. Then came our main course of seafood Risotto. We waited for an hour and it was really awful. So many mixed up flavors that I can't really describe what it tasted like. Very limited menu and drinks. No Ice Tea! No options for Vegetarians. On top of all this the waitress was gruff, rude and dismissive. I will never go back and recommend you give it a miss. I have guests here on the Island often and I have removed Blu from our lists of places to eat. The dinner for 2 was almost $200..
We ate lunch here when making the drive to the Tropic of Cancer Beach. We originally had dinner reservations but opted for lunch given other plans and how good the lunch menu looked so good. We got there at noon but they didn’t actually open until 1pm as they were still waiting on food delivery. We had drinks and the kids jumped off the dock and swam for a bit. It’s just a dock / no beach. The kids had chicken quesadillas, burger sliders, and fish and chips. They loved it all. The boss and I split fish and shrimp tacos (lobster wasn’t available out of season). They were delicious. We had a few drinks and enjoyed the view! Two thumbs up! 👍🏻 😋🍹
Nice relaxed place in Georgetown. Great views of the harbour. Cool refreshing breezes, Wi-Fi. Great burgers, fish and cold beers.
Beautiful setting with great food especially between the hours of 2 pmto 5 pm when most restaurants are not open on the island
We just got a most excellent meal here at Blu. We both got the special which was Grilled Wahoo and garden salad. The fish was fresh and grilled to perfection with an excellent gremolata drizzle. Drinks were strong and delivered promptly. Best meal and service so far in the Bahamas.
We stopped by two nights in a row. Once to eat and everything we had tasted great. Service was excellent. One night they had a band and dancing and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
The other really great place for food and drinks in George Town. Da New Eddies Edgewater is the other. Make these places your regular stops and you'll be very satisfied.
Food is terrible but view is okate but that doesn't matter
Great scene. Food isn't great though.
Great staff, beautiful view, and great food. We got the lobster pizza and a side of plantains. It was Mexican style pizza, and fresh plantains. Very good. The pizza was a little pricy ($20 for a personal pizza) but the plantains were very inexpensive ($1 for a side order) so it balanced out. I would recommend for lunch.
Food ok, bathrooms have no toilet paper. Quesadillas were awesome, chicken caesar salad was awful, chiken tenders were ok
Fantastic meal! One of my favorite places to eat in Exuma.
