Peace and Plenty is a historical icon in Exuma and is situated on a beautiful location.They have upgraded the rooms and restaurant. On Thursday you can enjoy local Bahamian BBQ with the Rake and Scrape band.

Nice place but the service was slow - even for the Bahamas. The manager seemed more interested in explaining stuff to the bartender than in letting him serve us. It took about half an hour to make two simple drinks. He wasn't busy since we were the only customers there. Maybe because they had only recently reopened after being closed for several weeks.

Prices are reasonable, my blackened shrimp was delucious! Place is not your typical looking restaurant, but is amongst the better looking places on the island! Lol!

Peace & Plenty is an historic quaint hotel and the first lodging facility in Exuma's capital city of George Town. Just changed ownership after some 55 plus years. Live band entertainment on Thursday night along with a Bar-B-Q along the poolside over looking historic Queen Elizabeth Harbour. Breathtaking view. Wonderful staff and excellent food. Cocktails is a must!

Its the place to be in Exuma George Town.
You will enjoy the local life. People are coming together and having a good time.
The Peace and Plenty is a unique and special place with a long history. There is a special inside Bar it used to be a old pirate Kitchen.
The visitors are all coming back year by year.

It seems they have a barbecue every Thursday so we went for that (we were not residents). Food seemed a little pricey but it was good and there was a live band. Very limited seating compared to the number of people who attended
