This grocery store has a great product selection, it's easily accessible, and it's quite comfortable to shop around. The staff is nice, but is always busy. Unlike other Guanabara stores, this one is not usually crowded. It's nearly impossible to find anyone in there that speaks English. The only downside is that prices of products that aren't on sale are steep.

Guanabara is the most inexpensive supermarket in Rio de Janeiro. Prices in all stores are the same. P.S. 4-2017. Now the price level is only slightly better than in other supermarkets in RIO.
