Beach has recently been cleaned up, so it's relatively tidy. Nice place to driver down to and watch the sunset. Free to enter and park. Only problem is that is now closes at 6pm, which means you cannot see the whole sunset. Don't go into the forest area, tons of mosquitos! Sometimes can do quad bike tours along the coast all the way to Berakas beach - definitely recommend.

quite a dreadful experience. visitors are either uneducated or have been raised poorly on proper etiquette such as throwing rubbish at the designated area. proper supervision by relevant authorities is needed to ensure that the beach is not flooded by overpopulated vendors. there is a ratio of 10 vendors to 1 visitors. The last i visited the beach, i believe there was basically all vendors at the vicinity rather than any visitors. relevant authorities need to look into this. it has to be controlled.

Great beach. A bit unkept. Great peaceful experience. Great place to bring your lunch and have it.

Actually the beach beautiful but the facilities like toilet getting worse. Very crowded during weekend.

-Cant believe how this place has changed from what it used to be 8-10 years ago. Used to be a perfect place to relax on the weekends but now it's filled with eye-sore Vendors and annoying ATV rentals . Beach is now dirty, noisy and very much polluted. The government should filter out those vendors that are destroying the once beautiful beach.

Lovely getaway place for the weekend. I would have given 5 stars if the beach doesn't have litter and rubbish scattered across.

Tungku Beach could be a great place to spend a day swimming or laying on the beach enjoying the sun and virtually, hardly any people except on the weekend. However, the beach, shoreline and the vendors area, where they also have ATV rentals, is disgusting. I have never seen so much garbage pilled up on the beach and in shore shaded areas.
Went down to Tungku beach (24 Feb 2016) the day after National Day in Brunei looking for tranquility. What I found was Disgusting. I can't believe the users of the beach leave more garbage on the beach in one day at their picnic area than they would probably dispose of at home in 1 week. So embarrassing for Bruneians. What a shame.

Ricky shoreline with large concrete blocks, hardly a beach by any standards. Rather disappointed.
