  بتاريخ ١٠ يونيو ٢٠١٥ افتتح جامع المغفور له بإذن الله تعالى الملك خالد بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود بمنطقة أم الحصم، تحت رعاية عاهل البلاد حضرة صاحب الجلالة الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة.
  
  وكان جامع الملك خالد رحمه الله الذي تكفّل الراحل ببنائه على نفقته، قد بُني في العام 1982 على مساحة قدرها 500 متر مربع. وبعد مضي ربع قرن على بنائه الأول أمر خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود بإعادة بنائه، وخصص جلالة الملك أرضاً رحبة تقدر بـ 10 آلاف متر مربع للبناء الجديد، وتميزت بمجاورتها للجامع القديم.
  
  ويعدُّ جامع الملك خالد ببنائه الجديد تحفة معمارية إسلامية وظَّفت الفنون الهندسية الحديثة وزاوجتها بفن العمارة النجدية مع مراعاة الهندسة الإسلامية. ويأتي الافتتاح في هذا التوقيت ليكون الجامع مفتوحاً للمصلين قبل شهر رمضان المبارك ليوفر لهم أجواءً مناسبة للعبادة والذكر.

  Its the best mosque in the area was made by government of kingdom of Saudia Arabia. It holds very big halls for the prayers. There is a space for the women. It had many gates to access from 3 ways.
