Big hospital with perfect materials
Filled with useless Indian staff. Salary delays have nothing to do with their mean attitude. Indians are known to be stupid and arrogant.
I went to the Emergency Room last night. The receptionist was very nice, helpful and respectful and the pediatrician who saw my daughter was polite and concerned about the well-being of my child, but the Indian nurse was extremely rude and indifferent. On top of that, she had no clue how to take my daughter's weight and height. If I was in charge, I would fire her. She gets a resounding 'F' in medical ethics! I'm not sure if salary delays have anything to do with it, but even if that's the case, a nurse is a nurse; she's in this business because she supposedly wants to help others.
Ghost hospital,
Emergancy clinic doctors are mostly asleep, hospital management need to revamp else all will be gone, its a shame, used to be one of the best in bahrain
Hospital is old but not bad . They have expert doctors and staff . It is not much busy maybe due to location logistics. It is still my favorite however it is far .
Costumer service is not that good
Obviously standrds have dropped and all the great doctors they used to have left because of salary delays. They don't accept health insurance cards which makes them not so attractive to visit when sick.
We visited the emergency room twice.
On both occasions, they literally spent over half an hour to locate a vein (they would insert the needle repeatedly to find a vein - over 20 times and two separate nurses).
Obscenely over-charged us.
The staff are rude and indifferent.
All in all, I would NEVER recommend this hospital under any circumstances.
Go to Bahrain Royal, instead. Bahrain Royal are incredibly great people (we visited 3 different departments so far and each one was as good as you could ever expect). They would get a vein on the first try (as opposed to 20 times in international) and they are surprisingly reasonable in charges.
