Nice clean beach with limited near services. Yet in my opinion it’s not a good place for families since I have heard stories about the drama that happens usually because of the drunk persons who walk around there, and I have seen one of them on my last visit. I would recommend going there by the day time only.

Al Jazeera beach is the biggest public beaches in Bahrain. It is crowdy in weekends when the weather is nice. The last time went on Thursday night it was a strong wind storm with full of dust. it happens very rarely. Be brave! I love sitting on this beachside with handful of cocktails 🍸🥤 . Very few cold stores and few food trucks available.Better carry your foodstuff.

Quite a nice beach, water is clear but note the sand is very course and rocky especially around the waters edge. The beach is currently patrolled by a friendly security guard though the day
One gripe the beach could be cleaner lots of rubbish and cigarette buts

Calming & peaceful beach, although blech & rubbish everywhere & hardly developed with old rusty out of date playing swings. Not enough lights. Hideous washrooms.

Feels like a private beach of your own if you get there at the right time. Far out, but well worth the drive. Crystal clear water with lots of fish, hermit crabs etc Perfect for snorkeling. Weekends bring mostly Saudi Nationals and niqabi's.

Nice beach, clear waters.. a calm place.. knee deep water for some distance from the shore which makes it safe for kids.
A lot can be done here for recreational activities if some more efforts are put in.

This is a long beach but, as with rest of Bahrain, the sand is more like dust. There are public showers and toilets but not very clean. Entry into the sea is stony. However lots of groups meet early on a Friday morning for sports and picnic breakfasts so there is a good community atmosphere.

Considering it's the only public beach in Bahrain it might be still the worse,
The beach is stacked with dead sea weed.
The moment you get near the water you will start smelling sewer and the rotten stench of the sea weed.
Entering the sea you Will have to walk about 20 meters to get away from the smell, and a further 100 meters for the water to get 1 meter deep.

The beach sand: what beach sand, mostly you will get a few centimeters before you hit rocks, but there's some good sand near the beach if you can bare the smell.

One good thing is that the beach is well let. So going at night won't be a problem.

At weekends it’s sometimes the haunt of large groups of ‘bachelors’ but a mid-week afternoon visit found just a handful of families enjoying picnics and a dip. True there are still a few Soviet-era toilet blocks and several damaged Portaloos but, in truth, this could be a really nice spot. There are signs of barbecuing on the sand and paved walkways so if you don’t fancy any of the more commercial options, this could be the place for you.

Neat and clean beach. Water level is less and it is very calm, so we can enjoy sea bath easily.

This Beach like many in Bahrain and around the Middle East is quite different because of the calm waves which almost seem non existent. The water is quite shallow which makes it a good place to take kids. There's plenty of space to run about, play games and also for picnics. Sunsets look great and there is plenty of parking available as well. A good place to spend some quality time with family and friends while enjoying the beauty of nature.
