Heavy investment in shore/beach development and to a certain extent in the building itself. Decent apart-hotel despite of some inconsistencies, such as hotel restaurant coexisting with self-catering concept. Cleaning is almost perfect! The only huge negative: smoking permitted in the breakfast lounge, everywhere on the beach, and even on the hotel staircase😣

Perfect hotel : the apartment has a living with kichinette(with no plates or pan to cook, but with 2 cups, 4 glasses and a minibar), dining area, 1 bedroom with a big double bed. The view is amazing, on the beach. Every apartment has sea view. We stayed one night in June at Royal Bay Garden- All inclusive, but I recomend the Royal Bay Aparthotel with Breakfast included. You can eat at the hotel restaurant or go to Balchik and eat at El Simpatico ( great food no matter what you choose, we payed 57 leva for : 1 cold tomato soup, 1 big pasta with chicken meat, 1 marinated pork steak with fries, 1 sache, 2 limonade, 1 beer - you cand find the menu online ) or go to Dalboka The Mussel Farm ( Not to be missed, it's a Must. Almost all mussels are from 6 to 8 leva and the quantity is big ). You spent the same amount of money but the quality of the food is superior, plus the diversified eating, while the All Inclusive is a bit repetitive and not so tasty. The Hotel has a private beach- VIP beach, where you pay 30 leva/ day for 2 sunbeds and one umbrella and 90leva/day for the Luxurry sunbeds.

The Hotel is set in an excellent location, and all rooms have sea view.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, most of them speaking English, Bulgarian and some even Romanian.
Food is good at a decent price and the restaurant terrace is a very romantic place to eat. You can pay in Leva, RON or EUR but the conversion price is a bit high, so I recommend Leva
Beach is private and separated in 2 areas, one VIP that requires payment even from the Hotel Guests and one free for the Guest at witch we didn't have any troubles finding a spot there. We had no problems leaving beach toys, over night directly on the beach as we found them right there the second day.
Beach bar sells food too, some grill, pizza's and burger that are quite tasty and cheap.
You have Wi-Fi signal everywhere, even on the beach, but internet connection is not that good, mostly during periods when many people try to use it.
Rooms are clean and the staff comes by everyday to arrange and clean the rooms. Every 3 days you get new sheets and towels.
Breakfast is rich, you have a lot of food to pick from, fruits, juices, coffee, etcresponse / report this review -
