Camping is located in very nice location close to the sea and next to the hotel with the same name.
The hotel has a pool for it's guests but campsite guests can use it for a small fee of 2 leva per person. If a campsite guest wishes to use chairs next to pool than he has to pay extra and you are not allowed to use your own chair in pool area. Pool works only until 18:00 in the evening and also is not working from 14:00 till 16:00 during the day which is very annoying.
Facilities are very poor for campers. Toilets most of the time are very dirty. Water in a taps and showers has a terrible smell. Mirrors in facilities are very small and its almost impossible to shave there.
Campsite has electricity and water connections (EU plug) just make sure to bring long cables and hose.
You can dine in hotel restaurant but food is below average. I recommend to walk couple of hundred meters away from place and have a decent meal in some other restaurant. There is a small supermarket close to the campsite entrance.response / report this review -

Great location by the sea, tent and caravan friendly, in some spots shade is available. Toilets are not that clean and the water has a sulphuric scent.

I liked this place very much. We were camping there 4 nights with our tent (20 leva per night). It has electricity, but bring long cables. Is very quiet, has toilets and showers. Has a swimming pool that we didn't use and a restaurant with good food and fair prices. In front of the camping you can find a store where you can buy almost anything you need for a trip in such place (the girl understands Romanian). We have been eating daily in Balchik. Both in Balchik and in this camping you can speak with staff and waitress in Romanian (and with reception guy in English).
I liked the sand and the fact that you can walk much in water till it gets deeper.response / report this review -

Very nice location and awesome food!
If you want to do your laundry make sure you ask the guy at the reception how many he will do, for the clothes you need to be washed! It's 10 leva per laundry.response / report this review -

The water was extremely dirty and the sand at the beach had a lot of rocks in it.My girlfriend got stung by a insect there.
