The museum is located in the old house of this printers family. It is impressive in itself. The circuit allows to understand how print worked at the time. Great collection of books from the period.

A lot of people say that they go just to see the building, but I found the exhibits very interesting as well (and it takes a lot to hold my attention), possibly because I worked in journalism in school. But it's amazing how much of an impact Antwerp had on the printing industry. And yes, the building is beautiful too.

An amazing opportunity to learn about how books were made at the dawn of the publishing industry. When we were there they even had a table set up where we could make our own paper!

Accidentally stumbled upon this museum - and it was the best catch for the weekend in Atwerp! The museum is super-informative, lots of curious facts about printing industry and how/why Atwerp was in its center. Also try its gift shop for nifty souvenirs & tokens

Fine museum with lots of history behind it. If you love books this place is a must in your itinerary. Visit usually takes about 1-2 hours.

I was dragged here by a printing fan which I'm incredibly thankful for - i wouldn't have thought to visit otherwise. The collection of presses, typesets, punches and other tools are by far the most intriguing items on display. We caught a demo of one of the replica presses around 2pm too so look out for that!

So much better than Ruben's house but the same price. Tons more to see, friendly staff, cool little gift shop and easy to spend hours exploring. Even better, you can go in and out with a wristband so you can pop out for lunch or a snack.
