Incredible collection of modern and contemporary art. Tickets are cheap and the content of the museum is usually well worth it. One of the better contemporary collections in Flanders.

A great museum with a nice cafe / bar with outdoor seating!

A lot of the artwork is presented without feeling like a context has been built around it. This leaves very abstract pieces being displayed, sometimes with no explanation of what they're about.

The choice of artwork also wasn't to my taste at all, in some instances leaning towards more design and craft than art that really had a message. I also though the photo museum, a 5 minutes walk away, does a much better job of video installations.

Very disappointing museum, only seen 2 pieces of art that I liked. Not really worth your time or money.

Let's start positive: I really liked the building and the restaurant at the top floor is nice. You can dine next to a piece Keith harring did on one of the walls. But The expositions were not really my thing, there was no context given and only a limited number of artists exposed. I wouldn't go there again or recommend it to anyone

Hm, contemporary art in a very exciting building but.. something is missing. Inspiration?

Not worth the visit today. I've never been before. They have lots of building work going on so there is limited items to see. There is a reduced ticket price, however if we had been fully aware of the limited exhibition we would have not paid the money. On the ground floor there was 'photographic art work'. Probably the worst selection of photographs in an art museum I've ever seen. Don't rate it at all.

Contemporary exhibitions with a distinct opinion on variety. You can see a wide range of artists, some more interesting, some unknown. Always a good idea to come by every two months or so. From time to time they do a bigger exhibition which goes beyond the current works of an artist. Nice to see the evolution in the oeuvre. There's also a focus to involve young people into the world of plastic arts.
