it's a little old but the staff is excellent and the hotel is comfortable. it has a nice breakfast, not with too many options but more than enough. all in all, it was a very nice experience. the location is very convenient too, close to the old market square.
Great hotel, much better experience then we expected. We made a prepaid reservation two months in advance and they remember we had a kid and set the crib and bathroom amenities for her. The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was expensive though. It’s not central but it’s on a good compromise between downtown and train station.
The hotel is situated an approximately 10 minute walk from the main square. Parking is only available via street parking or a large underground multi-storey car park beneath the adjacent square, accessed from a tunnel on the R30 (Interparking 't Zand). ~€8 for 24hrs. The hotel lobby especially has an upmarket feel to it, which follows through to the spacious room and bathroom with bath/shower. Staff were very friendly and happy to help us when we had trouble finding the car park.
Great base for a visit to Brugge. Quiet of an evening. Large clean rooms and a good breakfast.
Pleasant staff, quick room service, nice food, the hotel room was a little tatty with ceiling damaged and bathroom glass panelled door was missing net curtains so that there was no privacy. Other than that very comfortable bed, nice location. Will be even better once T Zand Square has been reconstructed. Recommend visiting Bruges
The room was very comfortable. The restaurant has good food. Walking distance from the historic part of the city.
There are building works going on in the square in front of hotel which made it awkward to get into the hotel. Staff very professional and helpful. Asked for quite room because of the building work. Was given a very large twin room which overlooked the garden.
Nice big clean rooms & bath. Breakfast is good and lot of fresh fruits etc
My friend had stayed here last year and found here really nice, so she suggests here for us.
But we have a totally different room this time, a really old room on 4th floor. Some equipments in this room are quite old and not so clean. Especially the bathroom. The bathtub, the shower curtain and the water tap seems like they haven't been cleaned up for a long time, or I should say they are really hard to clean, since they are really too old. This room definitely needs a renovation.
And the bedsheets quite uncomfortable.
But the receptionist are nice and friendly.
Good, large room, in quiet area. About half way between market square and the train station, so great location if you plan to walk. The only possible complaint is that when my hands were wet, the shampoo bottle was hard to open.
Stayed as part of a P&O mini break, hotel looks old and tatty from the outside, but wow what a difference when you go inside, very smart, very clean, nice big airy rooms with queen size beds. Cannot complain at all.
I confess to really liking this hotel having stayed there a number of times over the years. Friendly staff, good location for station and the sights and amenities. Wonderful city and a great base to explore it from . Breakfast til noon on Sundays. What's not to like?
A beautiful hotel with fantastic, helpful staff. The rooms are very comfy and very well maintained. I would definitely return here and recomend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Bruges.
Four stars for this hotel in Bruges. Very kind personnel and clean rooms with a view over the Flemish rooftops. Soft mattress and pillows and a nice bathroom. The elevator brings you up all the way to the fifth floor. Downsides: the acoustic insulation could have been better and the air conditioning or ventilation system is a little bit smelly in the corridors.
Nicely located hotel both for business and tourism. Staff is helpful and pleasant and the restaurant quite good. There is a public parking nearby which is much cheaper than parking on the street.
