A small tranquil and lonely resting place for these young men. My favourite of those on the Western Front. I prefer it to the pool of peace

If visiting The Pool of Peace make time to cross the road to Lone Tree. A small cemetery, some of the graves originate from the slightly delayed mine explosion of Spanbroekmolen opposite. On several visits I have yet to meet anyone else at this quiet haven.
