I slept at 't Hooghe one night to see Ieper and because we wanted to go to Normandy, it would be a nice place to stop travelling and stay overnight. When we arrived the first impression was not so nice but the hotel was absolutely amazing. It's a small hotel but really cozy and the people who work there are really helpful. The surrounding grounds are filled with reminders of world war 1. Very impressive hotel, would go again.

Great little hotel. Nice modern rooms with wifi. The breakfast is european and comes with the room. Dinner was excellent, small menu, with many Belgian Beers available.
The hotel sits directly on the trenches of the Great War, which you can walk through. Just down the road from the Hooge Crater Museum, Hill 60 Museum, Hill 62 and several cemetaries.

Great little hotel has character. It is also on a battlefield site from world war 1, the Hooge Crater. Good place to stay if you are exploring the battlefields. Wifi was included in my booking and worked well.
