Clean & tidy. Nice atmosphere. Good breakfast and very knowledgeable staff. Not too far from the center and a nice Hotel. Slightly tired decor in the dining room but fine overall

I was on a business trip and breakfast doesn't start until 8am. The reception sorted something out but it wasn't ideal. The rooms were ok but probably won't use the hotel again.

Stayed with the family, 2 adults and 2 kids. Central location but rooms are rundown and noisy. There are better alternatives for this price. I would not return here.

The rooms are small but modern except there is no aircon. 30 degrees plus in Bruges does require that. No bar fridge or coffee making facilities. This may be the norm as our previous hotel didn't either. It is generally a peacfull area.

I stayed here in February 2017, and there was a bed bug. My husband is allergic to bed bugs. We woke up talking about how itchy we were sleeping (we're normally not itchy at home), and my husband had some spots on his neck. I said they didn't look like bed bug bites, but as he was taking a shower, I checked the bed anyways and found a bed bug! Disgusting. Those things can latch onto your belongings and go home with you. They multiply very fast and can infest your home.

Anyways, I was furious 'cause my husband is really allergic. His bites swell up, create knots in his muscle under the skin, puss, and then scar. He got about 30 bites from this one bug.

I ran downstairs to tell the manager and noticed a customer in the lobby so asked her very quietly if I could speak with her privately. She said she was sorry BUT that people from poorer countries come and bring them and sometimes, people bring bed bugs as an act of terrorism. WHATEVER, don't care. Don't need excuses for not checking your bed every time you check the sheets.

She told us she'd put us in another room, but we left ASAP. There'd be no guarantee that there was no bed bug in another room.

Anyways, sorry to write a review like this as I know it can hurt a hotel, but letting customers know about a potential bed bug issue is important. Wait a few months to stay here.

If it weren't for the bed bug issue, I'd give this hotel 2 stars. I had loud American neighbors (I'm American fyi lol) who were going in and out of the room and getting ready with their door open barking orders at each other to take showers with a 10-minute countdown kind of obnoxious. I asked them to close their door but could still hear them. Also I was by the stairs, so could hear people going up and down the stairs at night. Lastly, the breakfast is very low quality foods. I would recommend to decrease the selection and increase the quality. My hard boiled egg had black and white gritty sand type things inside.

Besides when they have bed bugs, this is a good place if you are in college or just need a place to sleep after a day of drinking.

Perfect hotel after a day or night of drinking local beers. But through the night, as you slowly become sober, you'll start to notice the rooms are very noisy. You can literally hear everything in the halls and adjacent rooms. Staff is very friendly. Much is outdated. Location is an acceptable distance from the lovely city center.

Friendly staff, good location, generally well-kept. However, our double room had a double bed which consisted of two different single mattresses pushed together. I managed to wedge myself in the emergent cravsse at some point in the night. It was like something from "Touching the void". In all seriousness we were disappointed with the bed.

The hotel was nice and quiet. Perfect halt for the night. The receptionist who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. However he did forget to mention that breakfast was not included in the price of the booking. It ended up being a bit of a surprise when it came to paying the bill. It would have been fine if his colleague, a dark-hair middle-aged woman, hadn’t been so disdainful and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing for her subordinate’s mistake, which obviously wasn’t a catastrophe, she just decided to discard our point, and kept sarcastically saying that she’d fire her employee that afternoon. Poor management and cruel lack of business sense. Had she just apologized, we would have been happy to recommend that hotel. We won’t.
