This hotel has bed bugs. One of the worst experiences ever. Not knowing anything about bed bugs until we stayed there, we didn't recognise the signs. Our bedroom had had the headboard removed and the bed as away from the wall. They obviously knew they had a problem and they still put us in there. Not only did we get bitten to bits, covered with the most horrendous bites that were agony, worst of all we were, and still are, terrified that we have brought them into our beautiful home. Cases on the floor and boots etc pick up eggs and bugs. It is the most awful experience ever. They are SO hard to get rid of without soaking every part of your house in toxic chemicals. I emailed the hotel when we got home and realised what had happened, having googled bedbugs and realising that the creatures we saw on the floor and crawling across our bed were in fact bed bugs, they didn't even reply. We told them the room number and said we really didn't want anyone else to go through the awful experience that we had, with absolutely no response. Such a shame because the hotel is in a great position, but what a complete nightmare.

I was very pleased with the friendliness and service at the hotel. very clean and local to most of the tourists to visit. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family.

The new owner is lovely but sadly, despite her concerted efforts, there is a problem with bedbugs from the previous owners that has not yet been remedied. Until this has been done thoroughly, it is NOT viable.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Cheap and cheerful but lively and clean and right in the centre on Ypres.

Nice, clean hotel with all the essential facilities. Efficient, friendly and welcoming staff. Accommodation is spartan but functional and comfortable. Reasonable price especially for a central location.

Hôtel pas trop chère pour Ypres, propre, calme,un peu vieillot, pas pour une escapade amoureuse mais bon pour séjour pratique.

Wij kwamen met een groep van 21 personen naar hier. Ondanks het feit dat we pas laat daar waren werden we uiterst vriendelijk ontvangen. De kamers waren ruim, het sanitair meer dan oké. Het ontbijtbuffet was uitgebreid en gevarieerd. Hier kom ik in de toekomst zeker nog terug met mijn groepen!
