Gorgeous old grand private residence converted into a charming hotel. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and go out of their way to be helpful. Our room was huge. King size bed and sitting area. Plenty of room for all our luggage. Bathroom was a little small but shower was large and more than adequate. Location is a little bit out of town but an easy 10 minute walk or quick tram ride. Althogether well worth staying. Excellent.

Very nice hotel with a lot of character! Nice and help hull staff and well equipped breakfast as well. The rooms are a bit loudy, but I could sleep with no problem.

Very beautiful and characterful hotel convenient for tram into centre (tip - if you intend to use tram in and out more than once each day walk to the next stop Ghent Zuid and buy 1 2 or 3 day tram pass 6 Euroes per day *usually 3 Euroes each way). Nice selection at breakfast and lovely warm and informative welcome from Anthony. Would definitely recommend if you don't want bland corporate chain hotels.

A lovely hotel whose owners were very welcoming. The only downside is that being an old building (with a fascinating history) there's no lift, but we're young and healthy so had no problems. walking distance from the centre of Ghent.

Beautiful hotel, great service. Took a star off because of the lack of airconditioning in the rooms. Was there during a weekend with 30+ degrees C

A very charming romantic hotel in the heart of Ghent. The chic lobby and nostalgic decor pours from this hotel. The service is excellent the rooms are individual in style, with 1A even having a sunken Roman bath. The suites here on the 1 floor were splendid. Very impressed with the hotel interior style and great friendly service. Parking in available when pre contacting with a private individual lock up gargae for your vehicle. I would highly recommend this hotel whilst staying in Ghent. Although a 15 minute walk into the historic "tourist" part of town, it's a short walk to some more genuine Belgic cafes and restaurants. Very impressed and will definitely return here.
