Had such a great dinner at Blue Elephant!
We were there for the Brussels taste week, the RestoDays, and boy was it excellent!
We were able to have a variety of dishes, the menu was very complete and so refined, I enjoyed every minute of it.
The starters were very a great range if different tastes, I was very fond of the Thai fish cakes! (see picture of menu).
Also having lived in Indonesia previously, even if this is a Thai restaurant, I must say that the chicken satay really made me travel back there!
Usually I am not a big fan of spicy dishes but the vermicelli salad was absolutely delicious.
For the main dish I do very much recommend the Ki Mao Talay, which was also spicy but so tasty! Thank you for having made me like your spicy dishes, they were excellent (unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the main dish but trust me it was beautifully presented too).
The atmosphere and decorations of the restaurant are of course also part of the experience, we were in the little hut section in the front of the restaurant, it felt really cozy. And let's not forget the kindness if the staff which also contributed greatly to the success of our evening!
Absolutely recommend Blue Elephant to anyone!
We discovered this restaurant through Resto days and were super satisfied! The ambience and decoration with fresh flowers was amazing, the waiters attentive and the food delicious! For me it's the best Thai place in Brussels and we will be back for sure!
I have been to this chain of Thai restaurants in the past and I'll say that it is a consistently excellent place to eat very good Thai food. I find that the Blue Elephant has very strong and tasty flavours to all there dishes. The staff are friendly here. The decor was very nice but the place felt a bit "tight." I would totally recommend this place if you want to impress.
nice place, really good food
Way to expensive for the quality of food they serve.
Table for 8 had only 2 starters to share and 8 main courses, the drinks were paid apart by our host. Check came at 100 euros per couple. For that money we could have eaten a way better meal in another place. Dissapointed
Nice Thai restaurant which have quite a famous chef. Beautiful romantic interiors, tastefully decorated. Food is expensive and the waiting time is long too especially during dinner time. Well, it's worth the wait.
Worst experience ever! Bad service, even worse dishes: bad dim sum starter - we would think we were chewing dog food. Really bad! Never coming back!
It's tasty you can get crocodile here!
First I am 11,
Here's some reasons this place should be rated 5*:
-it has a authentic look
-it has amazing food
-good prices
-cosy
Impeccable service and atmosphere. Delicious food, typical for Thailand.
An excellent restaurant for those who love high quality Thai food.
The place exists for a long time now, and remains steady. Very good food, not to be missed.
Good food, but a bit expensive compared to other places that offer the same quality or better.
One of the best thai restaurants I have been to. Excellent.
