A serene lake with rectangular walkway for the joggers. Total walking length is 1029 meters per round trip. So it is quite convenient to keep the count. Also, there are posts at every 100 meters interval.
This is a 'No Smoking' zone. Keds are must. Pets are disallowed.
There is one wash room for gents (South-East corner) and another for ladies (North-West corner).
There are a few sitting benches, but some of those are on uncut grass! There is a sitting area with umbrella for gents (north-east corner) and another for ladies (North-West corner) . Also, a small sitting area and coffee corner but only for the dignitaries. A small changing room can also be found just to its opposite side.
Security guards are placed at the entry points and some patrol the lake as well.
The water in the lake is not much clean but okay. I have seen fishes in the lake, a few ducks, a "Little Cormorant" and a pair of Herons.
The lakeside is adorned with trees and plants of varieties. I specially love the "Crown of Thorns".response / report this review -

An spectacular natural beauty in the Mohakhali Cantonment. The environment is really enjoyable. There are lots of fishes in the lake. The night view is more enjoyable. Walkway around the lake is nice and suitable for jogging which is 1.3 kilometres. It's looks like a well decorated garden. There are also some nice sitting place beside the lake.

The mohakhali DOHS park lake is very pretty now as the developers have built in benches and the flowers take it to the next level.
