Staff is so nice. Rooms are great. Grounds lack grooming but don't let that stop you. Food is ok, but again don't stop. More than worth giving it a go. Don't let the reviews about the small beach scare you off. It's cozy, and again the staff take care of everything.

Just got back from a wonderful stay from 3-17 to 3-24-18. What a great trip. Probably the most relaxing vacation ever. Kim Griffith and her team could not do enough to make our stay fantastic. They literally waited on us like we were family. The room was great and right on the ocean. Because it was our 50th anniversary. They put up a gold banner wishing us happy anniversary. They arranged two white towels to look like swans with rose petals on them. And.. a complimentary bottle of wine. The room was very modern and very clean. The bathroom was very nice with 3 jet sprays in the shower.
There were 2 beautiful pools. The landscaping at the adults side was beautiful. We were given 3 complimentary massages each.Wonderful relaxing experience.
There are 2 restaurants. One for Asian food, and the other for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The break fast is buffet, but they made omelettes, pancakes and poached eggs. The lunches were also buffet style with carved turkey and beef. The dinners were buffet and order from the menu. The west indies night buffet was not for me. But! they made me my own grilled chicken and salad. Talk about great service.
The beach is very small, but we came down around 8:30 and they always has a soft cushioned lounge for us. They came around twice a day with cold cloths, frozen fruit on skewers and ice cream around 4:00. Unlimited drinks and food.
The only negatives are. Cannot walk safely outside the hotel. Very limited sidewalks and the traffic is horrible. Very little beach to walk on. Definitely not handicapped accessible.
I would give it a 99+ on a scale of 100. Would definitely return.

Great vacation spot. Clean. Across the street from a spa. Other than that, not to much in the surrounding area however.

Basic hotel so not good customer service or staff attitude. We booked our honeymoon there & no one acknowledged our wedding at all. Was shocked that when we said this was a special holiday our comment was met with silence. Stood at reception many times waiting for help when the receptionist was clearly just chatting. Lift didn't work when we were there. We would not go back.

I touch of paradise. With excellent staff. The hotel and spa were beautiful .
A really nice greeting of Jacqueline when we arrived of the mini bus that picked us up from the airport. She explained how things were run in the hotel.

Our room was spacious and had a great view of the sea. All the staff from cleaners to managers put them selves out, nothing was any trouble, really looked after us for the week we stayed in May. Wish it had been for two weeks.

The restaurant food was brilliant, fine dining. But if you wanted something a little lighter there was also a comfort menu. The bar staff were really friendly great guys and gals. A big thanks to Mark and the team. One thing though. Gents and Ladies, no flip flops, even the glittery ones at the evening dinner. They are very strict about their dress code.

If you like the beach. A few steps down from the hotel, a sandy cove with some water sport activities to try out. But if it's quiet your looking for, then cross over the road out side the hotel to the spa and pool. Wonderful!

Not forgetting. Also across the roads is the wonderful Asian infused restaurant that is included in the stay. The food here is also brilliant.

This was our first time in Barbados and hope to return sooner than later.
    Xxx.
    Thanks everyone

Beautiful place with lovely beaches. The staff was attentive, warm & caring. The food was really good. The chef made a bajan classic upon request. That was soo thoughtful. The availability of water sports right on the beach was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this place.

Fabulous resort that offers top notch service, food, beverages, spa services, a wonderful coffee bar, two restaurants, fitness classes or just peace and quiet, if that's what you are looking for. Five star resort!!!

I am currently staying at the Waves resort .
    I couldn't wait to post a review !
I have never been at a resort with such incredible service .
I was apprehensive about an all inclusive . I am a full paying guest . The drinks are plentiful and fantastic .The food is a modified buffet and every day has been a new surprise . The staff has made every accommodation possible as I have shellfish allergies .
The sports staff had made our trip .
Our teenage girls couldn't be happier to water ski, kayak, paddle board , sail , and ride the inner tube behind the boat .
This afternoon I witnessed several guests hugging the staff that we call by name and promising to return as if they were long lost family . I can't belief how incredible the staff is . I wanted to hug my housekeeper today who had the biggest smile on her face.
I will be crying to leave .

Excellent hotel, staff can't do enough for you.
The hotel has recently reopened after extensive renovation and now an outstanding boutique hotel. The water taxi ferries between other hotels in the group all day.
Special thank you to Crystal front desk manager and Kim general manager for all their assistance after our tour operator had failed to book our room.
Overall an outstanding hotel that is truly all inclusive including motorised water sports.
    You will not be disappointed.

The pictures on their website don't do justice. The hotel is beautiful, but what really makes this place awesome is the staff. They are so friendly and warm. Chef Oliver also did a great job with Bajan cuisine.
