Special mention to the beach team. I lost my glasses in the sea. The staff were very helpful and convinced they would recover them, I was not convinced. There were big waves! Ryan, 3 days later found them! Absolutely amazing that he remembered. Assured me and actually kept looking till he found them. The staff are amazing! Above and beyond! It’s the staff that make trips!

I really like it here, the staff are friendly and the scenery surrounding the hotel is what makes it special. All rooms are directly on the beach, including a hotel pool, and so many water sports available for all thrill-seeking levels. I love all the water sport staff, especially Ryan as he’s chill and a great teacher. Overall a very nice stay, will miss Barbados.

The service at this hotel is incredible! The staff are so lovely and made our stay so much better!! We particularly enjoyed the beach club and the water sports! Ryan and the sports staff were amazing! We not only just got to enjoy the sports but we were encouraged to sail and get involved! I would highly recommend this hotel and the water sports!!

Lovely rooms and good service but the both resteraunts need addressing. Palm terrace is big and austere not at all inviting and the smaller resteraunt is lovely for breakfast but needs the menu changing to more appetizing lunches and dinner. If like us you decide to eat out every lunch and dinner because of the above then you will love it.

Booked restaurant by the sea for 8.00. Table not ready. Order taken at 9.20. Appalling din from disco hwhich Staff would not turn down until we were the only customers and breakfast was prepared round us.
Once a true 5star now 0 Star Hotel to be avoided. A dreadful experience!response / report this review -

Beautiful fairmont resort. The main restaurant by the pool has great food a good service with breathtaking views of the ocean. Beautiful property and nice rooms with ocean view. However this property is not renovated.

Staff are wonderful. Food is great. Pool isn't crowded, always found a pool side chair. Beach is beautiful. Highly Recommend the Junior suites. Room butler is awesome, even checked me into my flight and printed my boarding passes, while delivering to my room.

If you're after an unpretentious tropical experience, this is the place. If you're of an ostentatious bent, go elsewhere. The rooms are spacious and well cleaned. The staff are extraordinarily friendly, helpful and fun. The grounds are lush and tropical and well kept. The pool, restaurant and bar area forms a sociable central area that links to a long and spacious beach with a cordoned swimming area. Non-powered water sports are free and well supported by an encouraging team. Breakfast lunch and dinner are very good, although Lonestar, nextdoor is extremely good.

Loved staying here - all the rooms have an ocean view and back onto the sand. The service was also top-notch and the afternoon teas on the patio are a nice touch.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion. The rooms were first class, the bed and pillows were extremely comfy. The service you couldn't fault, and the staff were amazing. Thank you all for a truly memorable stay.

Years ago my wife and I had a holiday in original Fairmont, the most beautiful stretch of beach, lined with palm trees you could wish for, how I long to return.
